Sorry I didn't blog this weekend! I was kinda busy!
So.. Friday after school, I picked up my car from the mechanic and then went to Extravadance with Katelyn and Allison. After that, I went home and got ready to go to the RS Sleepover! I had a blast. Irene and I drove down to meet everyone else. This house was incredible. We walk into what look like a guest house at the back of a lot that's not too far away from the main house, the guest house looks like one story and the main house looks like two stories, BUT! we were in fact wrong. When you walk in the guest house, there's a kitchen and a living room and then you look over the edge of the living room (down to basement level) and there is an indoor full basketball court and volleyball court and wallyball/racquet ball court along with some bathrooms, closets, and other rooms. Then you walk through this underground tunnel (also at basement level) to the basement of the actual house. There is a full theatre, pool table, air hockey table, and a ping pong table. Needless to say, we had an awesome time!
On Saturday, Irene and I drove home from the sleepover and then cleaned the apartment, sounds way super fun right? Then we went to the gym and worked out for awhile where we saw Kaitlin Mulroney and two of her room mates. Irene and I then came home and did homework and got ready for Stake Conference. I sat next to this totally cute boy and my room mates and FHE family was rather entertaining. We then came home, Irene and I ordered pizza and then Matt Haugen came over and we hung out for several hours and just talked and had a good time.
Sunday, we slept in and went to Stake Conference. It was an awesome Conference, that's for sure. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I went. I really feel like I was able to take a lot away from it. We came home, did some homework, and then had a yummy dinner, enchiladas, prepared by our FHE brother Charles and then came home, did some more homework and then went to bed.
Hey, I'll just include Monday in here! I went to my classes, gave a presentation in my humanities class, which I absolutely love, and then prepared two more presentations for American Foundations and Religion and prepared for a psychology test. I am really starting to love psych. I'm so glad I picked it as my major! I then came home, took a nap, and then Irene woke me up for FHE where we split up into teams and had a picture scavenger hunt. We had an awesome time being creative in ways to get extra points, meet new (cute) strangers, and finish the list. The night also included Matt proposing to a girl he doesn't even know and Matt also falling straight out of the car. He was trippin (over my seatbelt) and it was hilarious. I LOVE MY FHE FAMILY!
We then came home to our nice warm apartment, did some homework and some studying and in the middle of the homework some guy knocks on the door to tell Allison about a meeting to go to. Somehow psychology came up, he pronounced it PSYCH-CHOLOGY (it was really funny) and then proceeded to tell me we would have been in the same class if we didn't drop it. I love the people up here! They're funny and friendly, my favorite.
I then proceeded studying until about 12:45 and needed to take a break so what do I do? I clean the apartment! and then go back to studying and go to bed.
I had a great weekend and great past week overall. There's so many things I am thankful for, I think if I started a list it would never stop. I love where I am in life, I love who I am and who I'm continuing to strengthen and develop into, and I love the influences that have got me to where I am today. No details necessary :)
XOXO
