The Beginning

Hey EVERYONE!
So, instead of trying to make a million annoying Facebook posts about what I have been up to, I figured after two months of college, it's finally time to start a blog. I can guarantee I won't be writing everyday I'm up here, but I will do my best to be as consistent as possible.

Just in case you have dropped off the face of the earth in the past few months, I now live in Idaho! I am attending Brigham Young University, IDAHO! I am a member of the Varsity Dance Spirit Team and I absolutely love it, it's a consistent highlight of my week. I am currently a psychology major and hope to soon be working on a minor in Culinary Arts because I have always loved to bake (Thanks Mom!) and while I've been at college, I have had to pick up cooking and find myself often enjoying it! (No, I don't really mind the dishes anymore and have yet to burn Rice-A-Roni like I did a few times as a kid.)

I absolutely love it up here in Idaho! It's starting to get pretty chilly, although this week was almost as warm as my first week up here. Leaves are on the ground everywhere and I find myself enjoying the beauty of nature more and more. We had our first snow about two weeks ago, it was very little, but it was still snow! Supposedly we're going to get some more snow this weekend, so keep your fingers crossed!

While I've been up here, I've managed to meet some great people and have some pretty awesome room mates and yes, one is dating my brother and the other is dating my cousin; we're just one big happy family!

If you ever come to Rexburg, or even Eastern Idaho, you must travel to my town that is, at most, 3 miles long. Yes, I live in a very small town.
Things to do if you come to Rexburg:
-Of course, see the BYUI campus! It has some breath-taking views with the location on a hill and is just over all a very beautiful and peaceful campus.
-Hit up Sammy's!
-Go to Cocoa Bean
-Travel out to the Sand Dunes
-And go to my favorite, G's Dairy! It's SO Yummy!!

I miss my family, my friends, my home ward, and all the kids I used to babysit! But I will soon be home, November 19th-29th, for Thanksgiving Break and to go to/be in The Bennifer Wedding! Yes, my cousin, Jen, is marrying a guy named Ben, hence Bennifer.

Things I'm looking forward to besides seeing my Family and Friends:
-Going to the Beach
-Eating In-N-Out
-Seeing my Dogs
-Eating meals made by my Mommy :)

Alright, well I think I will finish up this first blog. Keep in touch ya'll! I'll write again soon!

XOXO
Christin Grace
