11 Days in Southern California

Hello Hello! So for my Thanksgiving Break I went back to my home in the beautiful, sunny Southern California. I was there for ten days and had a great break :)
PS, this is probably going to be my longest blog yet, so be prepared to read.

Day 1.
I arrived at the Long Beach Airport at 4PM-ish and waited about 25 minutes for my stupid luggage to come through baggage claim. I grew very impatient because I wanted to see my mommy! Once I finally got my luggage, Randy, Allison, my mom, and I went over to Ga's (My Grandma) House because our family from Orey-gun, Kathie and Gabby, came in town for Jen and Ben's wedding too! I hadn't seen them in two years and I was very excited that they finally came down. I was anxious to see the Gabster because I know she had to of grown a ton since the last time I saw her. We hung out and talked for a couple of hours and Ga made us dinner. Then I stopped by my Uncle Wayne and Aunt Laurie's house where we talked for a few and saw Uncle Wayne's reptiles, it's so cool to hold a snake! After about 30 minutes, we trekked on home and I changed and got ready to go to the CIF Football Game where the Loara Saxons kicked some major La Quinta butt! I had such a great time at the game and got to see so many friends that I haven't seen since graduation and even some favorite teachers of mine. After the game, Jessica and I went to In-N-Out, a total Saxon tradition, and then we went back to my house and hung out and talked, and then she left. I hung at home for about an hour and then headed over to see my brother DonE. We talked for about 30 minutes and then I went home and went to bed.

Day 2.
I was able to sleep in just a little bit and just hung out at home. My mom ordered pizza for lunch and then as soon as it came, I quickly at some pizza, and then went over to the Barnes' House! I was able to spend some quality time with my Courtney and the Barnes family for several hours. I had a great time. After several hours of hanging out, watching football games, and just talking, I went home and finally watched the 6th Harry Potter, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and then went to the movies with my mom, Allison, Randy, my sister Angela, and my Mommie #2, Peggy, to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. It was awesome! I absolutely loved it and can't wait for the second part to come out, but at the same time, I don't want them to end. I decided that I'm going to start reading the books though. I read the first and second one way back in second grade and I feel it's time to go back, start from the beginning, and read through all of them; the movies are great, and I know that books are going to be a million times better.

Day 3.
I woke up and went to church at my family ward. It was so great to see everyone, I really missed them, especially my little Ambria and Riane, I love those girls! Then, I went home and took a short nap and headed over to the singles ward and was able to see my good friend Jon-Michael. I was so glad to see him; I feel really bad because there were five of us, and then in the course of one month, we went from 5 to 1, leaving Jon-Michael to fend for himself without the rest of the Fantastic Five! We then went to a baptism, where I saw some more old friends of mine I didn't expect to see in a million years, and then went home and ate dinner. After dinner, my mom and I drove out to Mission Viejo to meet Kathie, Gabby, and Ga at this restaurant called Farrell's to get some ice cream, it was de-lish! They're really loud and rowdy and very entertaining, it's the hopping place and basically everyone there is celebrating their birthday. I then went home, dropped off my mom, and went and met up with my good friend Matt for a little bit, and then went home because my bed was calling my name and I was going to have to wake up early for Disneyland the next day!

Day 4.
Disneyland! After 20 years, I finally convinced my dad to go to Disneyland with us! We first went into California Adventure and went on Soarin' Over California because we knew he'd love it, but after the 45 minute long line, his back hurt, so he headed home. Kathie, Gabby, Ga, Aunt Laurie, Randy, Allison, my mom and I stayed in California Adventure and went on a couple rides and Gabby went on the Tower of Terror for the first time and absolutely loved it! She kept wanting to go on again, but there's so much to do in so little time at Disneyland for a 9 year old so we weren't able to go back. We headed over to Disneyland and waited in line for an hour and half for Indian Jones and it broke down, they had it up and running for about 15 minutes when it broke down indefinitely, so we got out of line, and my mom and I went home to have dinner, bundled up, and then headed back to Disneyland to meet up with everyone again. We went on a few rides, watched the fireworks pretty close to the front, went back to Indian Jones and waited not even 15 minutes this time because I talked to the people who were working the ride and got us to the front of the line, SCORE! After Indian Jones, we went to It's A Small World and watched the light show and then watched Fantasmic! which is where our long day finally ended, we were all exhausted! While we were walking back to the car, I saw Poreotics walking to the tram because they perform in a new show in California Adventure called Electronica. It was really cool to see them again.

Day 5.
I woke up early and got ready for my day. I headed over to Courtney's and then we went and got our eyelashes did. We then went to Chipotle, got ourselves some lunch, took some lunch to my aunt while she was at work, and then headed back to my house to eat our lunch and then hung out and talked for awhile. We then took Courtney home and then my mom and I went over to Nadine's and I got my eyebrows waxed, FINALLY! I started feeling like a gorilla, it really wasn't that bad, I just don't like when things about my appearance aren't just so. Once my eyebrows were waxed, I managed to re-arrange Sarah's room a little bit and wrote beautiful, heart-felt messages all over her mirrors, she loved it. We then left the Hainline's and my mom and I went to Joanne's Fabrics and then Target where I ran into my friend Jimmy! I had no idea he worked there. While I was at Target, I got a phone call from Nadine, Sarah's mom, once Sarah got home from school, so I was able to read her reactions as she was reading my messages and saw that her room was re-arranged, it was so funny!
I later went to the Block with Kari and it rained, but the sales were great and we had an awesome time! I managed to get a top from Windsor for $5, that's practically unheard of. We decided to leave the Block once all the stores were close and went back to my house, hung out, and made some yummy banana bread! I learned that Kari's favorite part was the top; we made three loaves of bread and she managed to eat the tops off of all three.

Day 6.
I woke up super early and then my Aunt Laurie, Uncle Wayne, and Ga all came to pick me up to head to San Diego for Thanksgiving and Ben and Jen's wedding on Friday! We stopped at Starbucks along the way where I got a yummy hot chocolate! My aunt started telling me that she heard that another good hot chocolate is their regular hot chocolate mixed with white hot chocolate is de-lish because Starbucks hot chocolate is dark chocolate, so when mixed together, the white chocolate balances it out and makes it super yummy, so if you've ever had it before, please let me know because I'm thinking I'm going to get it next time and I want peoples opinions if they've already had it! Okay, off my tangent and back to my day, we then continued on to San Diego where we met everyone at the Fashion Valley Mall. Aunt Laurie, Ga, and I got there a little early so we went into JCPenny's and met up with Juju and Betty, did some looking around, and then met Jen at Happy Nails, where we also met up with Carin and Erika and we all got manicures and pedicures for the wedding. After, we did some shopping in JCPenny's and Sephora and then headed over to have a lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, where my Uncle Donnie and Aunt Brenda joined us, as well as Erika's husband Juan. Lunch took two and a half hours, but I highly recommend the Carmel Chicken, it's so good! We then headed over to the North Chapel where the wedding rehearsal was and then we all parted our ways. I went with Jen to David's Bridal to pick up her dress and try it on for the first time since alterations were complete. I felt so special because I was the first and only person to see my cousin in her perfectly altered wedding dress before the wedding, it was a beautiful dress and she looked even more amazing in it. I couldn't wait to see her on Friday with her hair and make-up done and see her in that dress and see her husband's, Ben, reaction, as well as everyone else. I knew she was going to be radiant. We then all met up and hung out for the night, but we were all so tired from the day, we headed back early to the hotel, while Jen, Ben, Dana, Ga, and I headed back to Jen and Ben's house, I got ready for bed and hung out for a little bit, but I was still asleep before 10:20 PM, probably a record for me.

Day 7.
I woke up 12 hours after I had fallen asleep and took my shower and got ready for the Thanksgiving Day! We all headed over to the Hilton Hotel where a total of 27 people met up for one big family Thanksgiving Dinner! After dinner, we all headed up to our hotel rooms and figured out our plans for the next day, Jen and Ben's big day! Everyone went down to the Lounge, while I took Gabby to the jacuzzi and heated pool, we were there for about an hour before we decided to leave. I dried off and head up stairs to change to go the gym. I met my mom down in the Lounge and hung out there with everyone for awhile and then my mom, Aunt Laurie, and I went to the gym for about an hour, we had a great work out. I tried to go to bed at a decent hour because I knew I was going to be waking up at 3AM for some Black Friday shopping. I went to bed at about 11PM and then my brother came in after, woke me up at 12AM to ask me a question, and then I couldn't fall back asleep, so I tossed and turned until my alarm went off at 3AM.

Day 8.
Once my alarm went off at 3AM, I brushed my teeth, put my hair up, put on some shoes, and headed out the door with my mom to meet Juju, my aunt, and Ga in the Lobby to head to the Fashion Valley mall to do some Black Friday shopping. Initially, our plan was to only get a set of pearl earrings and necklace that Jen wanted to wear that day with her wedding dress, but instead, we stayed a lot longer than expected and didn't get back to the hotel until after 8. I was exhausted and knew I had a big day ahead of me, so Juju let me hang out in her room and I was able to take a two and a half hour nap. After my nap, I headed down to my room where Allison did my hair, I did my make-up, packed my bag, and I was out the door and off to the Chapel to finish getting ready for the wedding. We all got dressed, did our finishing touches to get ready, grabbed our bouquets and then took pictures before the ceremony started. Jen was absolutely gorgeous, no words could describe how beautiful she was, she was breath-taking and left us all speechless. After the ceremony, we continued to take pictures and then headed over to a great reception where we all just had a blast! Aunt Brenda, Uncle Donnie, my mom, and I then packed up all of Ben and Jen's wedding gifts and took them up to their room and then headed down to our own rooms. It was a long day full of fun, friends, and family, but my bed was definitely calling my name.

Day 9.
I woke up early to see my Aunt and Uncle before they headed back to Arizona and then we packed our bags, checked out, and were well on our way back to the OC. The trip went by really quickly because Randy, Allison, and I all conked out in the backseat. Once we got home, everyone took naps; we got home around 10:15 and I went straight to my bed and sleep until 4. My mom and I then went to run some errands, drove by the Simpson House to see if their Christmas decorations and then headed to Stater Brothers. We then drove back by the Simpson House because the first time everyone was out front, but we didn't stop because I looked retarded in the clothes I slept in all day, so I felt bad and drove back by to say hi. My mom and I then headed home and I got ready and went out with Hannah to the Block where I saw a bunch of people, including Sarah and Jessica while they worked at Old Navy. I managed to make a mess in the jeans, which was the area Sarah was trying to clean up, what can I say, I'm a good friend! Hannah and I continued walking around and walked in and out of a bunch of the stores as it rained and then we decided once all the stores were closed that we were done too. We then headed to Krispy Kreme and then did our tradition drive past Disneyland and Downtown Disney and then I took her home. Once I got home, I got comfortable and went to bed.

Day 10.
I woke up early and got ready for church. I went to my family ward where Kaitlin and I taught in Primary, I loved it! The kids there are so sweet, I just loved them. We then went to the singles ward, and then I went home and changed and then my dad, mom, brother, Allison and I headed to Ga's where we met Ga, Juju, and Dana for our tradition leftovers Thanksgiving dinner. Randy, Allison, Dana, and I threw old Christmas lightbulbs in the street, and then made the boys clean it up, it was really fun! I then set up Ga's Nativity Scene like I always do, and then we headed home. I then went to the Simpson's house and spent about two and half hours with them and then headed to Charles' house! We talked for awhile and then we started looking at stars through his telescope and he was teaching me all of these different astronomy facts, it was so cool! I love stars and the night sky so it was really cool to look at it through a telescope. I then headed to Justin's to drop off his hat and we talked for a little bit and then I headed home.

Day 11.
I woke up around 10, went shopping with my mom at Target and she bought me new Uggs, WOOO! I then went home, had lunch, packed my bags, and left for the LB Airport. I cried my eyes our leaving my mom, but of course once I got there and got through security and boarded the plane, I was just fine. The flight wasn't bad at all back to Idaho Falls. Allison and I were separated, but I was able to sit next to my friend Kaitlin's room mate Brooke and made friends with the other girl I sat next to, I was in the middle. I studied some psychology and learned some fascinating information about moral reasoning and then crocheted a new blanket I started. Before I knew it, we were landing on an icy runway in Idaho Falls. We got off the plane and headed for the baggage claim where my room mate, Irene, came running over to me and gave me a big old hug and she told me how much she missed me! I was so excited to see her. We waited at the baggage claim for what felt like forever and then Allison and I grabbed our luggage and we headed towards the car. We walked outside into 20 degree weather that later dropped down to 14, I missed the California sunshine and forgot that I would be walking out into snow. While I was in California, we had some really big snow storms, so there was tons of snow EVERYWHERE, including icy rodes. My FHE sister Courtney picked us up, as well as her friend Jessica who was on our flight too. We had a fun car ride home. I then hurried to my apartment, dropped off my luggage and met at the boys apartment for what I thought was going to be FHE, but was instead just some hanging out and quality bonding time. I then headed home, checked my mail, and just hung out with my room mates.

I had a great trip home and an awesome Thanksgiving Break! My semester is over in two and half weeks and then I will be home for four months! I am really going to miss the friends I've made up here, especially since we aren't all on the same track and I'm moving complexes, but most of all I am going to miss my FHE family, they're the best and I absolutely love them. But I will see everyone again soon in SoCal!

A Whatever Wednesday

So today I woke up and went to school, sounds super fun, right?

In my Humanities class we learned about art, typical.
In Religion we were supposed to give a presentation, but my teacher took up too much time talking, typical.
In Psychology, I'm continuing to learn about topics that absolutely fascinate me, YES!
In American Foundations, I taught my group about the Healthcare Reform and nailed it once again, woo!

I then came home from school and went to Walmart to get two things: luggage and a secret sister gift. I end up spending about an hour in Walmart because I was talking to my mom on the phone and just kept walking around the store. Fascinating? Yes, I know. I managed to get my luggage and didn't realize until hours later that I forgot about my secret sister gift for dance. No bueno.

Irene came home from class and then we left for the gym. Man, I love the gym. Irene makes the gym really fun too. She really likes to play 'Would you Rather..." especially when we're working out and specifically on the treadmill, poor elderly woman on the treadmill between us, she was looking at us like we were crazy, it was kind of funny.

After the gym, we came home, made some dinner and then I painted Irene's nails! Then the room mates made a trip down to Walmart again because I needed to get my secret sister gift. It's been awhile since Katelyn, Allison, Irene, and I have gone somewhere just the four of us, it was kind of fun. We managed to make it so Allison was left out of the car and we took of without her and played games with her, but don't worry, we went back and picked her up a couple minutes later. I remembered my secret sister gift this time and found a bop it and walked around the store playing with it. Yes, I got plenty of looks from people, but I really don't care because I absolutely LOVE Bop it!

We then went home and just kind of hung out. I really should have studied for my American Foundations test tomorrow (today). I really should have started packing, but of course I didn't. I can't wait to go home Friday, it's just going to be so much fun! I'm excited to see everyone, go to the CIF game, hang with my girls, go to Disneyland, go to the beach, go to San Diego, the WEDDING!! and of course Thanksgiving. This 10 day vacation is going to be awesome :)

California, I'll see you Friday!

An Insightful Weekend

Sorry I didn't blog this weekend! I was kinda busy!

So.. Friday after school, I picked up my car from the mechanic and then went to Extravadance with Katelyn and Allison. After that, I went home and got ready to go to the RS Sleepover! I had a blast. Irene and I drove down to meet everyone else. This house was incredible. We walk into what look like a guest house at the back of a lot that's not too far away from the main house, the guest house looks like one story and the main house looks like two stories, BUT! we were in fact wrong. When you walk in the guest house, there's a kitchen and a living room and then you look over the edge of the living room (down to basement level) and there is an indoor full basketball court and volleyball court and wallyball/racquet ball court along with some bathrooms, closets, and other rooms. Then you walk through this underground tunnel (also at basement level) to the basement of the actual house. There is a full theatre, pool table, air hockey table, and a ping pong table. Needless to say, we had an awesome time!

On Saturday, Irene and I drove home from the sleepover and then cleaned the apartment, sounds way super fun right? Then we went to the gym and worked out for awhile where we saw Kaitlin Mulroney and two of her room mates. Irene and I then came home and did homework and got ready for Stake Conference. I sat next to this totally cute boy and my room mates and FHE family was rather entertaining. We then came home, Irene and I ordered pizza and then Matt Haugen came over and we hung out for several hours and just talked and had a good time.

Sunday, we slept in and went to Stake Conference. It was an awesome Conference, that's for sure. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I went. I really feel like I was able to take a lot away from it. We came home, did some homework, and then had a yummy dinner, enchiladas, prepared by our FHE brother Charles and then came home, did some more homework and then went to bed.

Hey, I'll just include Monday in here! I went to my classes, gave a presentation in my humanities class, which I absolutely love, and then prepared two more presentations for American Foundations and Religion and prepared for a psychology test. I am really starting to love psych. I'm so glad I picked it as my major! I then came home, took a nap, and then Irene woke me up for FHE where we split up into teams and had a picture scavenger hunt. We had an awesome time being creative in ways to get extra points, meet new (cute) strangers, and finish the list. The night also included Matt proposing to a girl he doesn't even know and Matt also falling straight out of the car. He was trippin (over my seatbelt) and it was hilarious. I LOVE MY FHE FAMILY!

We then came home to our nice warm apartment, did some homework and some studying and in the middle of the homework some guy knocks on the door to tell Allison about a meeting to go to. Somehow psychology came up, he pronounced it PSYCH-CHOLOGY (it was really funny) and then proceeded to tell me we would have been in the same class if we didn't drop it. I love the people up here! They're funny and friendly, my favorite.
I then proceeded studying until about 12:45 and needed to take a break so what do I do? I clean the apartment! and then go back to studying and go to bed.

I had a great weekend and great past week overall. There's so many things I am thankful for, I think if I started a list it would never stop. I love where I am in life, I love who I am and who I'm continuing to strengthen and develop into, and I love the influences that have got me to where I am today. No details necessary :)

A Not So Relaxing Thursday

So, as some of you may or may not already know, I don't have school on Tuesdays and Thursdays because I was smart enough to set my schedule up that way. Kudos for me! The highlights of my days off are normally Devotional on Tuesdays, Spacing for Dance on Thursdays, and then Dance Practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights. But today was a little different.

Today I slept in later than I have the rest of the week, 11:30. I then got up, cleaned my room, cleaned the Kitchen and took out the trash. I was going to my laundry, but I clearly forgot. I then went to that Hart, a building on campus, and started watching a movie for a class. I then went down to spacing for dance and then hit the gym for about an hour and a half. I then went home, got some yummy Jamba Juice, don't worry, I get the healthy one, and then got some dinner and went back to the apartment, took a bath because I started feelings sore and then got ready for dance practice. I then went to dance for an hour and a half and when I got home Irene asked me if I wanted to do Yoga with Carolina and Gaby, our neighbors, and of course I said yes. So we went to Yoga for an hour and then after decided to do a Hip Hop class for 30 minutes, came home, and I got a massage, my back feels much better now, but not gonna lie, my muscles are starting to feel kind of sore!

I really liked the Yoga class. It was so relaxing, I was surprised so many people were there, boys and girls, it was awesome! I'll definitely be going back next week. The Hip Hop class was so fun. I really want to do it again next week!

Sorry I didn't write yesterday, I felt like I didn't have much to write about, but I realized ya'll don't know yet, but I have given up SWEETS! Irene, my room mate, and I decided to give up sweets. I decided yesterday while in Psychology and her and I were texting and told her about my plan and she decided to join, yay for the support in the best way possible! Especially coming from my work out buddy and the person I live with.

I think that's about it. Day 2 without sweets- accomplished!

Tuesdays= No School, but Dance Practice, YESS!

Tuesday. Every Tuesday since I've been in Idaho, I've managed to sleep in until 1PM. Yes, this is good, but bad at the same time because it's one of my days off and that means I have wasted all that time sleeping when I could be doing something fun.

Tuesday. Today was unlike any other Tuesday. I did not sleep in until 1PM and did not waste today, it was actually quite productive. I instead woke up just a little be 10AM, SCORE! My A.D.D. moment of the day, it's 11:11! Okay, back to my writing, so yes. I woke up, had some breakfast, read my scriptures, and got ready for the day. I hung out for a little bit, went to devotional and then Irene taught me how to drive in the snow.

We then proceeded to Walmart, went back by home to get Irene's swim stuff and I dropped her off for practice. Yes, I'm a good room mate. I then ran some errands, making myself the best sister in the whole wide world, yes Randy, I know you love me. I then came home, made myself some dinner and went to dance practice. Dance, as always, was really fun. Roxanne and I continue to grow closer, she's my Bud! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I then came home, watched Cake Boss, made some chocolate chips cookies, and then went and worked out. Today was a good day. It was very relaxing and the best part is that I had no homework to worry about, SCORE!

Tomorrow is a full day though, school, watching a movie for class, and then working out with Irene, but it should still be a good day :)

First Day of Snow

So, today I'm getting ready for school, wrote a paper, took a shower, did my hair and make up and I'm getting ready to change out of my sweats and get dressed to leave for school, when I check the weather report and it says "Rain/Snow Showers." I quickly run to my bedroom window, look out, and all I see is a large blanket of white. My jaw dropped and I got so excited. I slipped so many times today it would be impossible to count on both my hands and feet and I fell about a million more times.

Classes were actually not too bad day. My psych teacher wasn't there so we watched a video and got out 30 minutes early. But! On my way to psych, Katelyn (one of my room mates) and I walked through the gardens, we took a few pictures, and the first snowball fight broke out. We had fun in an empty field of white, that's for sure! Once I got to psych I overheard some kids talking about how it's illegal to throw snowballs in Rexburg, whoopsie! Don't worry, EVERYONE was doing it ;)

After my classes, I'm walking home and on the grass just outside the door (parallel to it) I see two large snowman that Katelyn and Allison built while I was in class, BOO! I tried to get Katelyn to build one with me because Allison and Irene both weren't home. FAIL. I tried to get Katelyn to help me prepare snowballs to surprise attack Allison when she got home. FAIL. I tried to get Katelyn to just go outside and play in the snow. FAIL.

When Allison got home, we played in the snow, took some pictures, slide on the grass, had a snowball fight, Katelyn surprise attacked me to the ground and then the three of us broke out in a snowball fight. I then dared Katelyn to lick a pole, she did. We played in the snow some more, slide down more hills, and chucked snowballs at our neighbors window. We had fun. We then went inside to get ready for FHE.

At FHE we played a game called Mafia. We had a lot of fun and had some yummy desserts! As we left for home, some of us broke out in a snowball fight, don't worry, it was only a mini one. I tried to get people to build a snowman with me. FAIL. Then, we get a knock on the door and one of our FHE brothers, Matt, called me outside and we started building a snowman, I was so excited, but it was quickly interrupted when some of my room mates and FHE sisters showed up and we broke out in yet another snowball fight. Our FHE sisters left and my room mates gave up. So we instead took the battle to our FHE sisters apartment. They wouldn't come outside so we nailed em through the window. It was awesome! Matt tried to get into their apartment and instead broke a card, good job. While we were sabotaging them, there were boys building a massive snowman in front of their FHE sisters apartment door, they put a scary face on the snowman facing the girls when they would open the door (and yes, there door was up on a platform so after rolling big balls of snow, they then had to move it onto the platform, it was really heavy.) When they completed the snowman, they knocked on the girls door and ran. The girls freaked, it was hilarious.

Matt and I at the point gave up on trying to get our FHE sisters to come outside so we left a surprise at one of the girls cars, we had fun. We then headed back to my apartment where we got Irene outside in the snow and we broke out in yet ANOTHER snowball fight lasting some time actually. We had a really good time.

Besides all of the fun in the snow, I managed to finish all of my homework for the entire week and I am now left with nothing to do, way fun! So cleaning and reading and writing sound like my best options here, score! Maybe even learning to drive in the snow? :)

Alrighty, well I think I'm done here. To everyone in California, enjoy your nice warm sunshine and I'll enjoy my nice cold blanket of white with some yummy hot chocolate!

Procrastination at Its FINEST!

So, I am really supposed to be writing a paper right now, trust me, it ain't workin out so well!

So today, I woke up went to church, came home, read some scriptures, read the ensign, and then took a 3 HOUR NAP, WOO! It was so refreshing and yes I realized my naps are more like sleep, but hey, it was re-energizing! After I woke up, I read more of the Ensign and talked to my brother on the phone for like 30 minutes. I then went to the CES Fireside and came home and talked to my momma on the phone and told her all about my weekend.

Dear world,
My mom is the best. I think she's more of my best friend than my mom because she gets excited and enthusiastic you expect your friends to get excited over, not your mom. lol She absolutely cracks me up. I am convinced she is still a teenager, her vocabulary, mannerisms, and actions prove it. :P She's so funny and everyone seems to love her; she's everyone's favorite mom, even my room mates love her and think she's funny! Talk about being blessed :) I know she'll read this and then start crying and then laughing because I know EXACTLY how she'll be acting, yes, I know my momma!
Love, Christin

Anyway! I made myself some dinner and then my room mates are all sad because their miss their men, my cousin and my brother, like I said before, we're one big happy family! So, since they were depressed, I was a good room mate and made them chocolate cupcakes! I used some silicone cupcake liners that my sister and mommie #2 gave me, they work awesome! Thanks again guys! I gave Allison the bowl with all the left over cake batter, she went to town and I periodically heard "I want Randy," don't worry, this is an everyday occurrence, just like their arguing over how much they miss their men and want to see them. Randy and Dana are words that I seem to hear 24/7. Before giving Allison the bowl, I gave her a big spoon full of cake batter and then gave Katelyn a big spoonful of cake batter too, while she was in the shower. Haha. Then the highlight of my day came! I filled up a pot full of cold water and then Allison took it and dumped it on Katelyn while she was taking her nice warm shower. If you don't know Katelyn then you must know that her scream is ridiculously loud and girlie, so it's definitely worth the effort. lol Katelyn and Allison both ate several cupcakes, so hopefully it made their day at least a little bit better.

I tried to write my paper, but couldn't focus, so, in my efforts of being a good student, I went to the lounge to try and get my work done, but it was even louder because people were playing games, so I went in the computer room, but there were two guys working on a project so I continued to be distracted and wrote a whole two sentences for my paper, WOO! Go Me! :) They then closed the lounge as soon as I started getting work done, so I came home, and I am again distracted.

Today was a good day. I don't really have much to write about now so, I will attempt to go back to writing my paper, we'll see how this one goes!

An Epic Night in Rexburg, Idaho!

HELLO HELLO HELLO!

I performed at the football game today, went to the grocery stores, got some Jamba with Irene, went home, hit up Walmart, went to Cole's football game, back to Walmart, Payless, and then back home to get ready for a night out!

So tonight was an absolute awesome night!
I went on a group date with 11 other people, we got some frozen yogurt and had an awesome time cosmic bowling, including the best bowling moves ever and dance moves, thank you DJ whatever your name is. I got a strike, woo! But, my date got a Turkey? I never even heard of the before. He got three strikes in a row. We also had a deal with bowling. Since only 8 of us went bowling, the other four went home, there were 4 girls and 4 guys. We decided that at the end of our games, we would add up the guys scores and the girls scores and whoever lost would have to sing "A Whole New World" from Aladdin and have to dance. Needless to say, we didn't end up adding up the score, but I'm convinced the boys think they had us beat, which is probably true. haha The night didn't end there! We then came back to the apartment to build a Haunted House made out of Gingerbread cookies that quickly was demolished and turned into a big mess. Icing Fight, need I say more?

I had such an awesome time! If you want to see picture from the epic icing fight and building of the Haunted House, go to: http://www.facebook.com/christinxoxo then go to pictures and click the album called "One Eventful Night"
Needless to say, it got a little messy, but we all had such a great time! I'm definitely hoping for some more epic nights like this. :)

Talk to ya'll soon!

The Beginning

Hey EVERYONE!
So, instead of trying to make a million annoying Facebook posts about what I have been up to, I figured after two months of college, it's finally time to start a blog. I can guarantee I won't be writing everyday I'm up here, but I will do my best to be as consistent as possible.

Just in case you have dropped off the face of the earth in the past few months, I now live in Idaho! I am attending Brigham Young University, IDAHO! I am a member of the Varsity Dance Spirit Team and I absolutely love it, it's a consistent highlight of my week. I am currently a psychology major and hope to soon be working on a minor in Culinary Arts because I have always loved to bake (Thanks Mom!) and while I've been at college, I have had to pick up cooking and find myself often enjoying it! (No, I don't really mind the dishes anymore and have yet to burn Rice-A-Roni like I did a few times as a kid.)

I absolutely love it up here in Idaho! It's starting to get pretty chilly, although this week was almost as warm as my first week up here. Leaves are on the ground everywhere and I find myself enjoying the beauty of nature more and more. We had our first snow about two weeks ago, it was very little, but it was still snow! Supposedly we're going to get some more snow this weekend, so keep your fingers crossed!

While I've been up here, I've managed to meet some great people and have some pretty awesome room mates and yes, one is dating my brother and the other is dating my cousin; we're just one big happy family!

If you ever come to Rexburg, or even Eastern Idaho, you must travel to my town that is, at most, 3 miles long. Yes, I live in a very small town.
Things to do if you come to Rexburg:
-Of course, see the BYUI campus! It has some breath-taking views with the location on a hill and is just over all a very beautiful and peaceful campus.
-Hit up Sammy's!
-Go to Cocoa Bean
-Travel out to the Sand Dunes
-And go to my favorite, G's Dairy! It's SO Yummy!!

I miss my family, my friends, my home ward, and all the kids I used to babysit! But I will soon be home, November 19th-29th, for Thanksgiving Break and to go to/be in The Bennifer Wedding! Yes, my cousin, Jen, is marrying a guy named Ben, hence Bennifer.

Things I'm looking forward to besides seeing my Family and Friends:
-Going to the Beach
-Eating In-N-Out
-Seeing my Dogs
-Eating meals made by my Mommy :)

Alright, well I think I will finish up this first blog. Keep in touch ya'll! I'll write again soon!

PANACHE!

Okay, so I know this is my first post, but it is very important!

There's a store on Main Street here in Rexburg, Idaho called Panache. It's an awesome little store and I go there almost every week and can never manage to escape without buying something.

They're currently having a giveaway for these awesome headbands that I practically drooled over when I walked in the store. It took a lot of will power to NOT buy them.

Check em out at: http://panache57.blogspot.com/2010/10/do-you-wanna-win-something-pretty.html

Don't miss out on this awesome opportunity!

Talk again soon!

XOXO
